Yuta initially started out as a house dancer on the Tokyo Underground Circuit. In order to create unique shows in exactly the style he wanted there was no option but to make the mixtapes himself, so at the age of 19 he finally stood behind the wheels of steel and never looked back.

His love for spinning on decks took over form spinning on dancefloors. Influenced by House veterans such as Timmy Regisford, Francois K, and DJ Taiki (from Japan), he started playing across the whole spectrum of house, from deep through tribal to jazzy vocal, all the while displaying an increasing affinity for seamless mixing
He then started organising parties across Tokyo in venues like Area 55 etc. and ventured in the realm of chill grooves for uptown lounges. An avid traveler he has danced his hart out on dancefloors at raves and outdoor parties across the globe, where he also picked up his love for this new style of music; hard, fast, emotive and deeper than anything he’s heard before: psychedelic trance!. At one of these in Zurich, Switzerland, he managed to get a slot. After playing to all these smiling faces and absorbing the unique atmosphere of a psy party, he knew he had found his calling.

When arriving in Shanghai a few years back, he saw the need for proper psy parties in our fair city and attended Magic Garden’s legendary parties across town. Then last year on his birthday, Magic Garden invited Yuta to play the headlining set on his birthday and become a full time member of the Magic Garden crew.
Now a fixture on the line up of all the Magic Garden parties (G+, Underlounge Huating Hotel, some free party…), Yuta is as passionate about music as when he first started. Aiming only to please the crowd in front of him, he plays straight from the hart with an enthusiasm only matched by his skill level!
